Indigo Summer

Indigo Summer is a book about how Indigo Summer started off her life in the new high school and her soon to be boyfriend Marcus Carter. At the beginning of the book it explains how her best friend Jade moved away from her. Jade moved away from her because Marcus's dad and stepmother had them evicted because of their late rents and light bills. But when Indigo found out that Marcus's stepmom kicked them out she hated Marcus and his family.Later on in the story she soon found out that Marcus had nothing to do with the evition, so she forgave him and gave him a chance with her because she thought that he was being a nice friend to her. Later in the story, her and Jade talked about how she joined the Dance team that she always wanted to be on when her and Jade was in middle school. Also it talks about how Marcus joined the basketball team to make his "Master Plan" go into action. Marcus's master plan is about how he aims for straight As all through high schools so he can get a scholar ship to college and doesnt have to pay for anything while hes there for four years. Towards the end of the book, Indigo founds out that Jade is moving back to Atlanta next summer so they can be best friends again. Then, she founds out that Marcus Carter is a great guy and they finally go out as boy friend and girl firend. And Indigo Summer can'ts wait until her best freind Jade moves back so the rest of her life will be complete.
