The Pact

The Pact was about Indigo Summer and her boyfriend Marcus Carter separating over the summer. It all began on the last day of school, when her and Marcus talks about them going off to different places over the summer. Indigo tells Marcus that she wants to make a "Pact" over the summer, so when they come back from where their going they can just start from where they left off. But Marcus thinks that this "Pact" is stupid because he trusts Indigo. Later on he tells her that he thinks its stupid because he doesn't want them to break up, none what so ever. But Indigo still wants this pact to work because she doesn't want to hurt Marcus if she does something over the summer with somebody and vice versa. So Marcus just goes along with her just to make her happy. When it was time to go Marcus barely even said a word to her because he was very upset about the whole pact conversation. When Indigo got to Washington D.C. she felt like she messed things up with Marcus, but she tries to avoid the whole conversation as much as possible so it won't mess up her summer vacation. When she gets there, she talks to her favorite grandma Nana summers about everything. Later, her older cousin comes by to visit Indigo, because they haven't seen each other since they were like 8 years old. But when she comes, she comes with her boyfreind. They all meet each other but Indigo notices that her boyfriend Darrien is checking her out, so she tries to avoid him as much as possible throughout the whole story. So in Marcus's life in Houston, Texas he stays with his mom over the summer. He and his mom gets along very well in the story. Later he meets new friends that live in same condo with him and his mom. He meets this beautiful life guard at the pool that he and friends go to almost everyday. But he soon finds out that she has boyfriend because she drives off in the car with him and gives him a kiss. So, he tries to keep his distance from her but she really seems to like him. So back in Indigo's life, she goes to adult club with her cousin and thinks she might get caught becasue she is under 18. When she gets in the club, she feels that she is alright and lets loose. When her and her cousin is ready to go, Indigo finds that her cousin is drunk, so she tells her that they cant go home because she can't drive them home because she is drunk. Her cousin tells her that Indigo has to drive beacuse she is to drunk so Indigo drive them home. But on the way home Indigo gets in a car accident and flees the accident because she doesn't want to get caught driving with out a drivers license.  When they get to her cousins apartment her cousins boyfriend Darrien puts her to bed. When Indigo gets settled on the couch, Darrien comes out and tries to touch on all her but Indigo isnt taking one bit off it. So when he forces her on the couch he starts trying to take her clothes off, but when he does that, his girlfriend finds them two on the couch. She yells at Indigo beacuse she belives her boyfreind when he tells her that Indigo likes him and she was all on him. But Indigo runs out as soon as Darrien gets off of her because she doesn't want to be involved in all the drama. When she goes outside she calls her ex-boyfriend Marcus Carter on the phone and tells him the whole story. When Marcus finds this out, he tells her that he will be there asap. Before he leaves, he leaves his mom a note on the refrigerator that he is leaving to go and get his "Girlfriend" because she is in trouble.After that, he goes to the nearset airport and gets on the flight thats leaving the fastest to Washington D.C. When he arrives there, he takes the taxi to Indigo's cousins house. When he sees Indigo on the porch crying, he runs to her and hug so tight that he doesn't want to let go. On the next day, Marcus and Indigo stays at her grandma Nana Summers house and tell her about everything that went on. When Indigo told them about the accident, they went to the police station to tell them who hit the lady and two kids, But when they told the police, they set her off with a warning and told them that the lady and two kids are alrightand Indigo is thankful for that. Later, Indigo's dad came to pick her and Mracus up because Marcus lives right beside them, so he didn't mind taking him with them. Indigo's dad heard what happened and confronted his niece's boyfreind about touching his daughter. Later when they where leaving in the car, Marcus and Indigo dropped the stupid "Pact" and went back to being the lovable couple they were before it even ended!
